ANOTHER BLOG FOR YOU GUYS

Hi guys! How's it going? I've made a blog specially for New Media class, and even though it's 'homework' I thought I would share it with you guys. It's a blog filled with the most amazing quotes from our trip to Washington, there's a example of one of them on top of the page. On the actual blog there's small explanations behind each quote.
Either click on the photos to get there, or click here or: http://washingtonlessons.tumblr.com to get there.
Have a lovely sunday!

What's poppin'
Hej.
Kram!

LAST WEEK IN PHOTOS
So, I finally managed to make to starbucks wifi work! (yeay)
So, here we go. Week 7, in photos.

Last Sunday it was Chinese new years! So during the Sunday we went to see a show called 'Shen Yun' - which was more than great. It's about Chinese culture, and I'm normally not very into going to theatres and things like that, but I absolutely adored this one. If I was given the opportunity to go again I would definitely take it.
The show itself is made by 100% Chinese people, but since they all practice 'Falun Gong', which is a religion that is strictly banned in China, they're banned in China. Which is quite ironic since it's a great show about Chinese culture.

We went to a Chinese restaurant, and we were very well feed.
For dessert we got fortune cookies. 'Imagination is more important than knowledge' is what mine said. I like it enough to store it in my wallet as a reminder.

Then on the Monday we went to... WASHINGTON D.C!
Since our train ride was canceled, we didn't think we'd be able to go. But instead of leaving on the Sunday we left Monday morning- we missed out on some of our plans, which was very sad, but I think all of us were more happy than anything to be able to take off.
It's such a pretty city, and you can see the capital building from almost every street corner.

We visited the white house.

We visited a museum for indigenous people's rights, which was more than interesting, and I would have loved to spend some more time in there.
During a rainy night we made our way into a italian restaurant, with the funniest name. I loved it. It had thousands of painting, portraits, photos and decorations among with small lamps on every wall, which made it feel so personal and artsy.

I love how happy my friend Gawa always is.
And here she's in her ninja mask, haha. You have no idea how funny this girl is.
One of my classmates has the cutest polaroid camera from Urban Outfitters (I think).
Here's Liam 'trying' it.
Emma!

Anuta!
Here's what I looked like during that night.

Some of our food.
We also visited Arlington National Cemetery, which is a cemetery dedicated to old war veterans and many other brave people who died in war. I think they have about 400,000 graves.
There's so many flags all over Washington, in every corner. It's such a big contrast to Sweden where you hardly ever see a Swedish flag.
We also found some birds to feed, which was a naive idea since they started attacking us after a while. Crazy birds.

We made our way to this historical place where we ate our sandwiches and felt like Martin Luther King for a short while.

We went to get crepes in China town a evening. I don't think I can remember the last time I had crepes that were this yummy.
We went to the Smithsonian museum of natural history. I loved it.

I hope you guys had a great week as well.
xx

How's life treating you?
Hi there!
Guess who's back?
I arrived right before dinner time yesterday- back from Washington D.C.
I had a great week, and there's so many photos that I would show you (if only the wifi would cooperate). Right now, as we speak, I'm sitting in Starbucks, listening to chessy the script music that they're playing on the speakers. My rommie and I escaped here for better wifi, but I guess it was for nothing. I'll probably be here for a few hours, catching up on some work and preparing myself mentally for monday.
lots of love,

I want to do to you what the spring does to the cherries
xx,

Nemo nemo nemo
Hi, Nemo is currently killing me.
I just found out that our trip to Washington DC has been canceled. This really sucks, everyone and I was more than excited about this and getting a week of from school, so I think I'm just gonna hang out inside today, but maybe I shouldn't state that since every time I do that I tend to go out anyway.
Here's some photos from yesterday.
The view from our window. Or, the view that wasn't 100% covered with snow will say.
Stairs and streets covered in snow in the morning.
Liam should have the award for the prettiest snowman.
We had 'presidential speeches' in our school yesterday, so the kids who were running for student counsel were debating for a hour and a half. Later some of us had some B&J to celebrate that it was over.
I felt artsy this morning. I found a Estonian band called 'Ewert and the two dragons' that I can't stop listen to.
Have a nice Saturday,
I hope Nemo didn't kill your plans.

HELLO NEMO,

Hi.
Nemo's been taking over the town for the past day and today. Our entire street was a white winter wonderland with no cars or people due to the heavy and crazy snow, and I stayed indoors the entire day; working, socializing, eating, skyping, facebooking and just wasting my time. It's nice to do that sometimes.
I might not blog as much the next few days since I'm going on a trip to Washington DC. I can't wait!
Have a nice one,

snowstorms, cookies and Skype

Today it's been snowing. Like crazy.
It's so beautiful.

They said it's a snowstorm. I guess it wasn't during the day, because it was just some snow falling down. Or maybe it's just me being Swedish.

Luisa, Bailey & Pema (not in the photo) and I decided to go to the store after school.

Pema & Bailey.

We got tons of chocolate in the store and made non-baked chocolate cookies!

COOKIES!

Then I spent/currently spending, my time on Skype. With my friend maaackan & crille. (love u)

knasbollar.
